Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre - Tinley Park Information and Schedule
Known as one of the biggest music venues in the entire Chicago metro area, the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre has an enormous reserved seating space of around 11,000 and an additional 17,000 lawn seats. It is a popular choice for residents in the Chicago region, and has been since opening its doors in 1990.
Popular as a place for major music festivals and big name performers, its inaugural concert was performed by Cher during her 1990, Heart of Stone Tour. Other performers have included Whitney Houston, the Grateful Dead, Fall Out Boy, Chris Brown and many more. The Lollapalooza tours have occurred here as well as Ozzfest, and the Vans Warped Tour.
All events go on, rain or shine, though severe weather can cause delays or even postponement. Getting there is easy and the venue provides VIP parking in addition to a VIP club with private bar and concessions. There are also upgraded ticket options with access to special facilities.
Parking is included in the price of a ticket, but there are also options for Premier Parking in the main lots closest to the entrance. Taxi service is abundant, and many attendees opt to use this in order to arrive at one of the main gates.
All visitors are screened for security. Bags are subject to search, and visitors may not bring aerosol cans, beverages other than water, coolers, laser pointers, drones, chairs, strollers, pets (except service animals), fireworks, professional cameras, umbrellas, video or audio recorders, strollers, weapons, video and removable lens cameras into the site.
Concessions are available throughout the site, in addition to sponsored party decks with fee-based access. There are more than 20 hotels within two miles of the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre, including premium chains.
