Dierks Bentley Tickets
Subtle and yet entirely original, Dierks Bentley has done things his own way almost from the start. For instance, in an article about him at Great American Country it explains that he played four shows over the course of four nights in New York City. This is not exactly the heart of country music fandom, and yet the artist was able to fill the famous Bowery Ballroom every single night. This is because he has a range that goes beyond the realm of just traditional country music. He has performed at music festivals that have very little to do with most other country performances, and which include Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and the Telluride Bluegrass Festival among others. Clearly he is the kind of "hybrid" that modern audiences adore, and this is why he was such a good fit for a 2011 White House performance as well.
He has several platinum and gold albums to his credit and has been able to get 18 singles on the country charts, with ten songs hitting the very top spot. He has received recognition from the industry and been the recipient of many nominations and awards. Since 2004 such groups as the Academy of Country Music and the American Country Awards have acknowledged his gifts. He has also been nominated many times for Grammy Awards.
When asked about his influences, he admits that he has enjoyed explorations of bluegrass and has stepped away from country from time to time. He does seem to continually refer to his musical influences in his work, but keeps everything fresh and exciting. GAC says that his career could be "taught in music business classes because of its rare balance of commercial success and artistic breadth." This is clearly proven true by the enormous fan following that he enjoys.
